Traditional is a plain style dried beef using a non-spicy spice. Great for the folks who can’t handle any spicing.
Chilli is a mild chilli spice. This is not an over powering flavour of chilli.
Peri - is slighter hotter spice with a bit of a bite.
We use a 100% Australian beef topside for this. The spices are added and then air dried for approximately 12-14 hours. We retain more moisture in our product, so it is not as hard as the “Jerky” you might know, but it has a similar texture. It will last for months. Storage is recommended in a cool, dry place. A fridge is perfect, but because the product is salted, it will dry out over time. The best way to retain the products, as purchased, is to place it in the freezer in an air tight container. When you ready to eat it, simply take it out for a couple of minutes and it’s ready to be eaten.
